How old do I have to be to get a vaccine?

Answer:

Individuals who are 5 years and older can receive a vaccine.

I want to get vaccinated. Where should I go?

Answer:

Whether or not you qualify to get a vaccine depends on where you're going to school and the rules within that state. We recommend that you:

1. Contact your campus health center or;
2. Visit your state department of health website by clicking below.

Will LewerMark cover my COVID-19 booster?

Answer:

All COVID-19 vaccinations, including COVID-19 boosters, are covered, subject to the $100 annual COVID-19 vaccine benefit maximum.

Is treatment for COVID-19 (coronavirus) covered under my LewerMark Student Insurance plan?

Answer:

Yes!

Testing​

If I am showing symptoms and/or have been exposed to the virus, will LewerMark cover my COVID-19 test?

Answer:

Yes! Your test will be covered under your LewerMark Student Insurance plan. You will not need to pay a copay and/or a deductible (coinsurance may apply).

Note: at-home COVID-19 tests are not covered.

If I am not showing symptoms and/or have not been exposed to the virus, will LewerMark cover my COVID-19 test?

Answer:

Yes, your LewerMark Student Insurance plan will cover your test under your wellness benefit. If you have already used your wellness benefit (we can help check that for you!), then your test will not be covered.

Note: at-home COVID-19 tests are not covered.

How do I know if I need to get tested?

Answer:

If you believe you may have been exposed to the coronavirus and think you need to be tested, please contact your doctor’s office to discuss your symptoms and determine next steps. If you don’t have a doctor, you can contact LewerMark or your state or local health department for assistance.

Nurseline is available 24/7/365 (1-866-549-5076). Your school website may also offer information on who to contact for testing.

Will I be covered if my test comes back positive?

Answer:

Yes! It is covered under the same maximum benefit listed on your plan summary and plan brochure. In the event you need treatment, those services are covered according to policy guidelines. You may wish to seek treatment with an in-network provider as cost-sharing may apply.

Is there a specific place I must go for testing?

Answer:

We recommend that you connect with your local county health department to obtain information about where to be tested. If you need help finding your state health department, please contact us and we would be happy to help!

Will LewerMark cover at-home COVID-19 tests?

Answer:
